Academic Accelerator The Academic Accelerator curriculum (AAP) is A two-semester curriculum  designed for students who are prepared to succeed in courses where English is the primary language but who also desire the advantage of having assistance from other students and the English language in order to succeed.  Bachelor of Science - Biochemistry The Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry program's contextual curriculum provides students with a firsthand, practical, and cultural understanding of the American University campus and the Washington, DC, region. A full year's worth of academic credits can be transferred into year two of an undergraduate degree by students who enroll in the program in the spring or fall. They can select their elective coursework in the humanities, sciences, or social sciences based on the degree they plan to pursue. The program allows students to choose elective coursework in humanities, sciences, or social sciences, giving them the flexibility to tailor their education according to their interests and career goals. The program is designed to prepare students for various degree paths by providing a broad and contextual understanding of their field.
