Buet student murder: Friend, unnamed persons sued

A murder case was filed early today over the killing of Buet student Fardin Noor Parash, whose body was recovered from Shitalakkhya river in Narayanganj on November 7.

Fardin's father Nuruddin Rana filed the case accusing Amatullah Bushra, the victim's friend, with Rampura Police Station, said Sub-Inspector Tawfika Yeasmin, the duty officer of the police station.

Some unnamed persons were also made accused, the SI said.

The body of Fardin, a third-year student of civil engineering department of Buet, was recovered from Shitalakkhya at Banani Ghat under Siddhirganj Police Station around 4:30pm on November 7.

After conducting autopsy, doctors at Narayanganj General Hospital confirmed that Fardin was murdered.
